Amason & Associates offers internship opportunities in multiple areas to get your career in construction off the ground. Interns can choose to be rotated between the two areas offered below, or can choose to focus on either.
Estimating & Project Management Support Internship –
Work with project managers on multiple tasks ranging from:
- Cost Estimating
- Scheduling
- Submittal Review
- Generating RFI
- Other support functions may be assigned based on project need
Field Support Internship –
Work with superintendents and assist with:
- Safety
- Field Engineering
- Project Documentation
- Updating as-built drawings
- Photography
- Schedule Updates
- Generating RFI
- Participating in subcontractor meetings
Qualifications
- Enrolled in an engineering or construction/building sciences program
- Interest in pursuing a career in construction project management or supervision
- Familiarity with construction project management tools is preferred, but not required
