Oakdale Elementary School
Tuscaloosa, Alabama
This project includes three new additions to the school, which contain classrooms, lounges, restrooms, storage areas, a storm shelter and an expansion to the cafeteria. In addition, the school’s interior was totally demolished and renovated, modernizing the 62,000 square-foot original building. This space includes, a new music room, art room, counselor’s office, nurse’s office, updated restrooms and six new classrooms. This project, along with projects at Central Elementary School, Central High School and Skyland Elementary School, is part of Amason’s Construction Manager work package with Tuscaloosa City Schools.
