Homewood Community Center

The Homewood Community Center is a 51,829 square-foot recreation and activity center. This new facility replaced the existing center and offers members two gymnasiums, a 4,000 square-foot fitness center, state-of-the-art exercise equipment, event room with seating for 96, elevated running track, Olympic-size swimming pool, water playground, and concession area.

Structurally, the new facility required 2,500 cubic yards of concrete, 18-foot tall foundation walls, and 260 tons of structural steel, bar joists, and metal decking.
