This 95’, 10-level building expands MBUSI’s Automated Storage Retrieval System. Serving as Design-Builder for the project, we were responsible for managing all aspects of automation, cranes and PLC upgrades. This project is Amason’s sixth expansion to the ASRS.

Amason previously served as the general contractor for the construction of ASRS 2 and ASRS 3. Each of these 9-story buildings contain two high-speed stacker cranes. Our scope included the entire 9-story structure, stacker cranes, conveyors, warehouse management system software integration, as well as the relocation of the electrical, fire protection, fire alarm and IT servers which currently operates the ASRS. These contracts required a substantial amount of overtime and weekend shift work to allow MBUSI to maintain the functionality of the ASRS while undergoing these extensive additions.
